Lucas Late Models Washed Out At Jackson

JACKSON, Minn. – Wednesday’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event at Jackson Motorplex was rained out due to heavy rain overnight that continued into the late morning hours.

The $10,000-to-win event will not be rescheduled. Fans who purchased tickets in advance for the event will receive a full refund.

Those who purchased tickets online will receive an email confirmation of their refund.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series moves on to I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Neb., for three straight nights of racing from July 18-20.

The weekend will get underway on Thursday with the $12,000-to-win, Malvern Bank Go 50 – a full program featuring a 50-lap main event.

Friday’s action includes preliminary events for the Imperial Tile ninth annual Silver Dollar Nationals, highlighted by two thrilling rounds of heat race action for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

On Saturday, B-Mains will be held, along with the $3,000-to-win non-qualifier race, before the 80-lap, $53,000-to-win Silver Dollar Nationals main event caps off the weekend.
