SANDUSKY, Ohio — Coming off an injury just six weeks ago, veteran racer Tim Ice kept the pedal down and stayed out of trouble to win a wild Midwest Supermodified Ass’n feature Saturday night at Sandusky Speedway.

Finishing third in his heat, Ice started the 50-lapper on the half-mile asphalt oval seventh. One by one he picked off the cars in front of him in the event that was run without wings on the MSA supers, and Ice was in victory lane at the end of the evening.

Dave Shullick, Jr. beat Trent Stephens to the finish to claim second with Pat Lavery and polesitter Jack Smith completing the top five.
