Yankowski Banks $10,000 Serrano Memorial Prize

BRIDGEPORT, N.J. – Alex Yankowski earned $10,000 for his victory in Saturday night’s Danny Serrano Memorial 100 for dirt modifieds at Bridgeport Speedway.

Yankowski bested a 34-car starting field for the 100-lap main event, beating Ryan Watt and Ryan Godown to the checkered flag at the three-eighths-mile dirt track.

Danny Bouc and Jeff Strunk filled out the top five.

Super DIRTcar Series regulars Mike Mahaney and Peter Britten finished seventh and 14th, respectively, in the event.

In other action, Steve Davis won the 602 Sportsman invitational, while Scott Riggleman and Justin Dunn split twin 4/8 Cylinder feature wins.
