USRA B-Mods Add Mississippi Thunder Date

FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. – The Iron Man Challenge featuring USRA B-Mods will be part of the program when the USMTS Modifieds visit the Mississippi Thunder Speedway on May 3.

The event will have a 7 p.m. starts, and a large field of cars is expected at the track which hosted last September’s record-setting Baehman Law B-Mod Nationals that featured more than 150 entrants.

The season opener at Bob Timm’s high-banked three-eighths-mile clay oval is one week earlier on April 26.

With four races in the books, Jeremy Chambers of Parsons, Kan., leads the points standings for the B-Mods, followed by Kris Jackson, Shawn Strong, Corey Crapser and Steve Muilenburg.

The next event for B-Mods is April 19, at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan. Stock Cars open their campaign on May 25 at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn.
