Short Track Super Series Heading To Florida

LAKE CITY, Fla. – The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series fueled by Sunoco will make its maiden voyage to Florida this coming February.

All-Tech Raceway in Lake City, Fla., will be the host for the inaugural Sunshine Swing.

STSS big-block/small-block modifieds and Crate 602 Sportsman are on the docket Feb. 5-8, with lucrative pay structures posted for each night of racing.

The action begins Wednesday, Feb. 5, with an open practice allowing competitors to get a feel for the clay oval prior to racing getting underway.

Thursday, Feb. 6 brings the first of three nights of racing. STSS modifieds will take part in a 30-lap main, offering the winner $5,000 from a posted pay structure of $21,450.

Crate 602 Sportsman cars join the program racing for $1,250 to win in a 25-lap event.

Friday, Feb. 7 brings an increased 40-lap headliner for the STSS Modifieds and the stakes go up, with $7,500 going to the winner and a total payoff of $24,450.

Crate 602 Sportsman are again in action with $1,250 going to the winner.

Saturday, Feb. 8 marks the 50-lap STSS Modified Championship, with $10,000 reserved for the winner and a total pay structure of $29,700.

Crate 602 Sportsman raise the stakes and go 30 laps with $1,500 reserved to the winner.
