NASHVILLE, Ark. – Preston Seratt has wanted to win a USCS feature event “the right way” ever since he was awarded his first USCS K&N Filters Outlaw Modified Series victory by virtue of torrential rain a week ago at Poplar Bluff Speedway.
Friday night, he did just that.
Seratt led wire-to-wire after winning his heat race and starting on the K&N Filters Pole Position to score the victory in the 25-lap “Stars and Stripes Duel at the Diamond” at Diamond Park Speedway on Friday night ahead of Hooks, Texas driver Caleb Shown.
The triumph was Seratt’s second career series victory, as well as his second of the season.
“Boy, each one’s more special than the last one, but I’m so glad we finally got one under green here tonight,” a jubilant Seratt said in www.rockauto.com Victory Lane. “Sure didn’t have it easy, the 24M (Manuel Williams, II) was on us there for a while at the beginning, but he had his problems and we just drove our race. Super stoked to grab the win tonight.”
Tait Davenport kicked off the evening’s racing action with a win in the six-lap K&N Filters Power Dash. Preston Seratt snagged the victory in the Wilwood Disc Brakes First Heat and Caleb Shown rolled to victory in the Aero Race Wheels Second Heat. Seratt was then awarded the K&N Filters Pole Award by virtue of a straight-up start for the K&N Filters Outlaw Modifieds.
