MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — Kevin Root won the Sportsman modified feature during Eastern States Weekend Friday night at Orange County Fair Speedway.
Root finished two seconds ahead of Grant Hilfiger after 50 laps of the legendary five-eighths-mile dirt track.
Andrew Buff finished third, with Tyler Corcoran and Jared Labagh rounding out the top five.
Mat Williamson held off Tim McCreadie to win the Past Champions race for big-block modifieds.
