The third season of the American Racer USRA Modified Series presented by Day Motor Sports begins this weekend with the first two of 25 events on this year’s calendar.
The first event of the year will take place on April 14 at the Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Oklahoma, and then moves to the legendary Lawton Speedway in Lawton, Oklahoma, on April 15.
Both events will award a $2,000 paycheck to the main event winner with no less than $250 going to every feature race starter each night on the quarter-mile ovals.Â
In addition to the USRA Modifieds, Friday night’s show will feature non-sanctioned B-Mods, Factory Stocks, Tuners, Sprint Cars (winged two-barrel + 305), Non-Wing Micros and NOW600 Sooner State Dwarf Cars.
