Rain Stops Fairbury Mod Round

FAIRBURY, Ill. — For the second time this year, rain forced DIRTcar and Fairbury Speedway officials to cancel Saturday night’s DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals action at Fairbury Speedway, three weeks after the originally scheduled event was also plagued by rain.

No reschedule date has been announced.

With five races remaining in the grueling six-week long tour, defending champion Mike Harrison clings to a diminishing 11 point lead in the 2014 championship standings over Jacob Poel.
