OSWEGO, N.Y. — Heavy rain moved over Oswego Speedway Saturday evening, with Precision Weather Service calling for more rain to fall before track crews would be able to return the racing surface to a safe and competitive condition, leading to the postponement of the remaining events to Sunday, Oct. 8.
Super DIRT Week officials will reevaluate conditions in the morning before grandstands open at 10 a.m. If weather experts and the track crew indicate there is no window to race on Sunday, the three remaining feature events will be reset for Monday, Oct. 9.
The order of events will be the Salute to the Troops 150 for DIRTcar 358 Modifieds followed by the 50-lap Chevrolet Performance Feature for DIRTcar Sportsman, and capping the program with the Billy Whittaker Cars 200 for Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds.
