CASA GRANDE, Ariz. — Night two of The Showdown At Central Arizona Raceway on Saturday continued with five IMCA divisions.Â
The heats used passing/finishing points and main events were straight up by points.
The modified main saw sixth-starting Kollin Hibdon catch up with Bryson Yeager and use a low line in turn four to make the winning pass in a nonstop 25 laps.
Yeager was second ahead of Chaz Baca Jr. after a multi-groove track led to an entertaining main.
Northern sport mods followed the modified main and nearly matched with only one yellow. Â
Eric Winemiller collected the win after holding off a charge from Taylor Kuehl and led the entire race. Kuehl started fifth and Clay Erickson was third after starting 18th.
Stock car action started with Bo Partain leading eight laps with Josh Cain racing alongside. Cole Czarneski made it three wide and used the low line in turn four to lead the last 12 laps. Â
Cain finished second and Partain was third with a pack of five cars battled for podium honors.Â
The hobby stocks were dominated by Steve Bitting Jr. with a flag-to-flag run. Joel Magee and Scott Bernard’s were a distant second and third.
Mod lite main action was another Riley Clem runaway until he spun and drew a yellow.  Restarting 11th took a few laps to again lead and Clem edged Brenden Priest at the line.Â
