FAIRBURY, Ill. — Mike Harrison topped Saturday night’s DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals feature at Fairbury American Legion Speedway.
Harrison rolled the top while Nick Hoffman kept pace on the bottom as the two raced side by side before Harrison edged ahead just enough to take the checkered flag, his first win on the tour this season.
Six-time series champion Harrison also became the fourth different winner through four events on this season’s Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals campaign. It was the 528th win of his career dating back to 1995.
Hoffman, Mike McKinney, Allen Weisser and Jeffrey Ledford rounded out the top five.
Brian Shirley won the late model feature.
