RINGGOLD, Ga. — The Valvoline Iron Man Late Model Southern Series will have to wait a week to start its season as cold weather forecasts have forced the postponement of the 14th annual Cabin Fever at Boyd’s Speedway. The race, originally scheduled for Jan. 29, has been rescheduled for Feb. 5. The 40-lap feature will pay $5,000 to win and $450 to start.
The weekend will get underway on Feb. 4 with an open practice for all divisions at Boyd’s Speedway. The 14th Annual Cabin Fever race-day will take place Feb. 5 and will feature the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series in a non-points event that will see Super Late Model competitors in a full program.
