Despite there being a full moon in the sky, the action at Tucson Speedway turned out to mostly clean and calm during the first preliminary features of Chilly Willy weekend.
Since its inaugural running in 2014, the Chilly Willy has quickly become an annual pilgrimage for pavement short-track racing enthusiasts and racers to find a competitive blend and warm solace amidst the frigid winter across much of the country.
A pair of drivers will be taking their talents to the Tucson Speedway’s eighth annual Chilly Willy 150 and look to be among the favorites even before taking their first lap around the three-eighths-mile oval.
